Pre-Order Guarantee

At Summoning Grounds, we are committed to providing our customers with a seamless pre-order experience for our sealed TCG products. 
We understand the excitement of securing your favorite TCG items in advance, and we want to ensure that your pre-order(s) is handled with care and efficiency. 
To guarantee a smooth pre-order process, we have established the following policy:

Pre-Order Placement

  • Customers can place pre-orders for upcoming sealed trading card game products through our website or in-store.
  • Pre-orders can be secured by paying a full deposit at the time of reservation.
  • Pre-orders are always filled in the order they are received.
  • Customers that place pre-orders agree to all terms upon checkout. 

Product Availability: 

  • We strive to accurately estimate product availability and communicate any changes promptly to our customers. 
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances leading to a shortage of pre-ordered items, customers will be notified immediately and orders will be fulfilled in the order they were received. 
  • If a pre-order is unable to be fulfilled, we will provide a FULL REFUND to the payment method preferred with an additional 10% back in store credit for any inconvenience that may have occurred.

Release Date Fulfillment:

  • We are Committed to fulfilling pre-orders on or as close to the official release date as possible. 
  • Customers receive regular updates regarding the status of their pre-order leading up to the release date. 

Pre-Order Bonuses: 

  • Customers who pre-order sealed trading card game products may be eligible for exclusive bonuses or promotions as advertised. 
  • Bonuses will be distributed in accordance with the terms specified at the time of pre-order placement. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy: 

  • After the placement of a pre-order, customers are unable to request cancellations, accommodations may be made for circumstances to help in the event a price has dropped on our website, or a promo code was unapplied properly.
  • Customers that require the need to cancel a pre-order in extreme circumstances may be charged a 30% restocking fee for fees that cannot be recouped, and marketing costs attributed to their order. 

Customer Support: 

  • Our customer support team is available to assist with any pre-order inquiries or concerns. 
  • Customers can reach us by email, phone, live website chat, or in-person during store hours. Requests received will be handled within 24 hours or less. 

We aim to provide a transparent and reliable pre-order experience for our valued customers.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned such as booster packs, mystery boxes and online tcg codes. Many trading card products are not returnable due to the nature of the product so if you have any questions about what can and can’t be accepted, please feel free to reach out to us. 

RETURNS:

We have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at summoninggrounds@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping information, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. The Customer is responsible for shipping cost associated with the return as well as proper packaging to ensure the safe arrival of the returned product. Failure to properly package the product may result in rejection of the return. 

Shipping Policy

At Summoning Grounds, we take pride in our customers and the service that we proved them. That’s why we go the extra mile to ensure that no corners are cut during the packaging/order fulfillment process. This is to ensure that you receive your order promptly and safely. We ship out orders Monday-Friday. Most orders placed will be fulfilled & shipped with in 1-2 business days domestically & internationally! Please note: international buyers are responsible for paying import taxes/fees associated with delivery. If your order is flagged as risky in any way we will not fulfill that order and it will be cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience, however, with fraud being so high these are the actions we have been forced to take. Take note as well that shipping times are approximate, and we have no control over delays caused by the shipping carrier. Once your package is marked as delivered, we are no longer responsible for that package. It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange safe keeping at the time of delivery. Please ensure that if you are in a neighborhood where package theft is a problem to arrange safe keeping of the package once delivered. ANY Additional shipping fees/charges due to incorrect info provided by the customer or the inability for UPS or USPS to deliver a package for any reason is the customers responsibility. If USPS or UPS charges us due to having to return that package to sender due to any reason above. All Fees/charges will be taken out of the refund if a package is returned to sender and customer does not wish to pay to re ship that package. Original shipping charge is non refundable.

To be able to continue offering discounts, great prices and occasional giveaways we must ultimately follow a business plan that provides realistic profits that can keep the door open. Thank you for the support and understanding.

Card Condition Guide

Near Mint

Cards in Near Mint (NM) condition show minimal to no wear from shuffling, play or handling and can have a nearly unmarked surface, crisp corners and unblemished edges outside of a few minimal flaws. A Near Mint card may have a tiny edge nick or a tiny scratch or two, but overall look nearly unplayed with no major defects or flaws.

The acceptable range of cards within the Near Mint condition include both cards with no imperfections and cards with a few minor imperfections.

Near Mint Foil

On foil cards, wear and blemishes are more easily noticed. As a result, grading Near Mint Foils (NMFs) is fairly simple: They canʼt have any scratches, clouding, print defects or visible damage or marks. Near Mint Foils are nearly pristine cards because itʼs the most scrutinized card condition.

Lightly Played

Cards in Lightly Played (LP) condition may have minor border or corner wear or even just slight scuffs or scratches. There are no major defects such as liquid damage, bends or issues with the structural integrity of the card. Noticeable imperfections are okay, but none should be too severe or at too high a volume.

The acceptable range of cards within the Lightly Played condition include both cards with a handful of minor imperfections and those with a few more noticeable imperfections.

Lightly Played Foil

Lightly Played Foils (LPFs) show minimal wear and very few surface flaws. Any flaws such as scratches are very slight, and no major imperfections or flaws should exist. Scratches in the art box tend to be more noticeable and factor more heavily than other flaws. Foils in Lightly Played condition may also have slight fading or signs of wear or slight warping.

Moderately Played

Cards in Moderately Played (MP) condition can have border wear, corner wear, scratching or scuffing, creases or whitening or any combination of mild examples of these marks.

A Moderately Played card may have some form of a more major marking, such as creasing that doesnʼt affect card integrity, but not in combination with other issues such as scratches, scuffs or border/edge wear and not impacting a large area of the card.

Moderately Played Foil

Warping, clouding, scratching and a little flaking are all fine on Moderately Played Foils (MPFs). They are also allowed to have minor border wear. As long as there are no major defects, these minor flaws are okay on MPFs.

Heavily Played

Cards in Heavily Played (HP) condition show a severe amount of wear. Cards with less than 30% of the surface being liquid damaged are typically accepted but may be considered Damaged if especially detrimental. HP cards can have one small instance of missing ink (such as if something is stuck to a card, then removed and pulls away part of the card), along with major creasing, whitening and border wear if the card can still be sleeve playable.

Damaged

Cards in Damaged condition can exhibit a tear, bend or crease that may make the card illegal for tournament play, even in a sleeve. If more than 30% of the card is damaged by liquid, it's considered Damaged. Cards in Damaged condition may have extreme border wear, extreme corner wear, heavy scratching or scuffing, folds, creases or tears or other damages that impacts the structural integrity of the card. (Note: No one likes to receive a card that is covered in a foreign substance, such as food, liquid or other material. Cards like these are not accepted through TCGplayer.)

Please familiarize yourself with our store policies. Shipping, preorder, returns and cancellation policies are on our home page. By purchasing from us you are agreeing to our terms. Cancellations are subject to a fee. Failure to familiarize yourself with our terms is does not excuse the buyer from these fees in the event of a return or cancellation.

SECTION 22- CANCELLATIONS


All cancellation requests are subject to a cancellation fee of 20%. (No matter when the order was placed)

Why is there a fee associated with cancelling an order?

If it were up to us, there would be no fee however it’s not that simple. Once a customer places an order we get charged a transaction fee. When a customer cancels an order, that fee has already been charged. We do not get that money back. With that said please be sure of what you want to purchase to prevent any unwanted cancellation fees.

SECTION 23- PREORDER POLICY

All pre-orders are fulfilled with in 1-2 business days of the street date or arrival (whichever comes first). In some cases, shipments don’t always arrive by the street date so please understand that we do everything in our power to ship your preorder in a timely manner but sometimes delays are just out of our control. WE ASK THAT IF YOUR ORDER IS RUNNING LATE PLEASE DO NOT WORRY AS WE CAN ASSURE YOU THAT IT WILL BE FULFILLED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! We have never had to cancel a preorder due to not being able to fulfill the order.

ALL PREORDERS ARE FULFILLED WITH THE INITIAL FIRST WAVE RELEASE UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED OTHERWISE.


Please note: We do not ship partial orders. So if your order includes items that release at different times, it will only ship once the entire order is fulfilled. If you want to avoid delays we recommend separating preorders from in stock products or other preorders that release at different times.


Our cancellation policy applies the same with preorders. See section 22 for more details on cancellations.
